Symplectic Spaces Without Hamiltonian Diffeomorphisms
Friday, March 4, 2016

This exercise treats a special case of “symplectic space”: the product of 2 irrational tori. We shall see that this space is symplectic according to the Symplectic Diffeology principles. But, its auto-intrication is so deep that it has no Hamiltonian Diffeomorphism except the identity. A situation that cannot happen for a symplectic manifold.
