Israel's international airport is Ben Gurion Airport (TLV).
Israel has visa waiver agreements with many countries, but please check your status.
Be sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months. Bring the invitation letter with you.
There are two transportation options from the airport to Jerusalem.
Both leave from outside arrivals hall and will take you to the address you provide.
Most guests will be staying at the Jerusalem Gardens Hotel. Check-in desk is open 24 hours. Check-in for rooms reserved for Sun-Fri starts at 3pm. Please note that check-in for rooms reserved for Saturday starts around 9pm. You may of course drop off your bags earlier. Check-out is at 11am.
Breakfast - is provided for conference guests at the Jerusalem Gardens hotel.
Lunch - during the conference (Sun-Thu) lunch will be served at the conference site.
Dinner - except for the conference dinner (Wednesday) you are on your own. A list of resteraunts is coming soon...
Coffee (and also food) - besides the refreshments at the conference there are various outlets on campus, open weekdays until 5pm (hot meals served 12-2pm, sometimes later).
The workshop will be held at the Maison De France on the Edmond. J. Safra (Givat Ram) campus of the Hebrew University.
Be sure to bring your passport (or other photo id) to facilitate entry to campus
The walk from the hotel to Maison De France is ~20 minutes (mostly through the campus).
The lecture hall is equipped with a large, medium-quality blackboard and computer projector with standard connection. If you have additional technical needs please contact the organizers.
Wireless is available at the hotel (cost is included inthe rooms) and at the conference site.
