Latif Eliaz

Hi, I'm a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Mathematics of the Technion.
I work with Prof. Ram Band and Prof. Ron Rosenthal.
Our current aim is to establish a probabilistic model for describing properties of the Nuemann domains of Laplacian eigenfunctions.
Here is my PhD thesis "On the Essential Spectrum of Schroedinger Operators on Graphs",
carried under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Breuer at the Department of Mathematics of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
I have completed my MSc at the Department of Physics of the Hebrew University, under the supervision of Prof. Amit Giveon.
My MSc thesis is on "Aspects of Gauge-Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking".

My CV

Research Interests

I'm interested in studying quantum spectra and dynamics over complex geometrical structures.
In particular, I would like to understand spectral properties of Schroedinger operators, transport and dynamics on graphs,
fractals and various spaces and problems related to spectral geometry.
My research so far is focused on studying the essential spectrum of Schroedinger operators on infinite graphs.
