Differential forms and $A_\infty$ structures of Lagrangians




Abstract: Following Fukaya's approach, I will explain how to use differential forms to construct, under certain assumptions, an $A_\infty$ algebra associated to a real Lagrangian submanifold of a complex variety, that reflects some information about holomorphic disks with boundary conditions in the Lagrangian. Specifically, the talk will focus on the real projective space as a submanifold of the complex projective space of odd dimension. If time permits, I will also discuss deformations of this structure.
No prior knowledge of $A_\infty$ algebras will be assumed.
