"Decay of correlations in sub-critical ferromagnetic models"

Abstract: The classical Ornstein-Zernike theory (1914) gives a sharp asymptotic description of the point-to-point density fluctuations in simple fluids. We shall try to explain the probabilistic content of the OZ-formula and show how it can be rigorously derived in the context of finite range ferromagnetic systems on the lattice.
